Middle States Evaluation:
Our Lady of the Valley School holds the
distinction of being a "Star School" in the Diocese of Paterson. This
award reflects the school as an educational entity dedicated to creating an
environment that fosters spiritual, intellectual, emotional and
physiological maturation. Through collegial and collaborative
interaction the administration and faculty build a solid scholastic
community steeped in core values and Catholic tradition. A diverse
curriculum empowers pupils to uncover his/her unique abilities. A
multi-faceted educational experience supports and strengthens each
pupil's talents. This is especially magnified in: setting high academic
standards; utilizing technology to create innovative educational
opportunities; accommodating the diverse needs of our students through
an array of educational services; and demonstrating administrative and
financial effectiveness enhancing all educational programs. In
conjunction with the academic arena, actualization of children's
spirituality is nurtured through participation in the communal,
sacramental and liturgical life of the Church. Furthermore, an expansive
array of co-curricular and extracurricular activities enrich the
classroom experience, promote social interaction and develop special
interests. Proactive pastoral, parental and parish support have been
instrumental in the aforementioned achievements.
